"Trust Shattered: Cases of Government Betrayal" Set for Release
A Personal Journey Through American Politics
In just one week, "Trust Shattered: Cases of Government Betrayal" will hit shelves, marking a significant milestone in my journey as an author deeply invested in the fabric of American politics. This book is the culmination of a profound awakening that began during President Obama's second term when I first became acutely aware of the profound shifts occurring within both our government and society.
My first book, "Progress, Really?: One Man’s View of Social Progress in America," was a passionate response to this awakening, aimed at encouraging others to recognize these changes. That initial spark led to the launch of my blog and podcast, Liberty Lighthouse, which introduced me to a diverse array of guests and callers, each bringing unique ideas on reforming governance. This interaction inspired my second book, "So Simple Even A Politician Can Understand," a compilation of straightforward solutions to complex political issues. This book resonated well, earning a spot on Book Authority’s list of the "Best Politician Books of All Time."
Conversations on Liberty Lighthouse highlighted an uncomfortable reality: the creeping tyranny of our own government. It was bewildering to see how far we had strayed from the ideals of our forefathers, leading me to write "A More Tyrannical King." This book drew parallels between our current government and the tyranny of King George III, whom the American colonies rebelled against. This was a turning point that solidified my stance as a constitutional originalist.
As a constitutional originalist, I firmly believe in adhering to the limits set by the US Constitution, which the Founding Fathers crafted to keep the government in check—or more accurately, to allow the people to keep the government in check. Yet, we've seen the federal government repeatedly overstep these bounds. From criminalizing criticism of the government just seven years after the Bill of Rights was ratified, to a century-long history of non-consensual experiments on its citizens, and the exorbitant taxation that claims nearly half of our earnings, the federal government has shown a pattern of overreach.
This historical pattern of overreach sparked the creation of "Trust Shattered," which delves into 45 verifiable and publicly admitted government betrayals that violate the principles of Life, Liberty, and Property as defined by John Locke. This book isn’t an academic tome filled with conspiracy theories; it's a straightforward, factual account meant to resonate with anyone, regardless of political affiliation.
"Trust Shattered" is designed to challenge all readers to think critically about the role of government. It's a call to action, urging us to reflect on the government’s duty to protect our rights, and to empower ourselves through knowledge and vigilance. Scheduled for release in hardcover, paperback, ebook, and audiobook formats on May 1st, this book aims not only to inform but to inspire active participation in governance.
I write succinctly, aiming to make complex issues accessible to everyone. My hope is not just for "Trust Shattered" to be read, but for it to be shared across political divides, fostering discussions that can lead to real understanding and change.
I invite you to explore "Trust Shattered" and join me in this crucial dialogue. Once you've turned the last page, consider sharing it with someone from a different political perspective—discussion is the first step towards understanding and change.
